Spyware Remover Software

As PC World magazine said: "No, you don't need to put up with PC-clogging, privacy-invading spyware".

And, like I promised, I am going to share what I have learned about protecting my computer.

Now, you can protect yours, too!

The first one I want you to know about is  Ad-aware and I have used it for for seven years.

It does a good job of finding and removing a lot of common "adware spyware", and there is a free for personal use version. There is also a paid version with more bells and whistles. If you run a business, or use your computer for anything serious, I recommend that you use the commercial version of AdAware. It will not only let you scan for these parasites, but you will have 'real-time protection' as well. You might think of it as a spy sweeper.

One thing to remember, no matter whish programs you decide to use, is that in order for these programs to operate efficiently and effectively, you must update them often. Some come out with updates about twice a month. Oh, and don't worry, its easy to do.

I also use SpywareBlaster, and I have used it since I first discovered it. It also need to be updated, about every two weeks, as well. "Spyware-Blaster" doesn't scan and clean for spyware - it prevents some types of malware from ever being installed. Kind of like getting a vaccine for certain types of spyware, keyloggers, malware and other assorted problem causers. This one is like having a spyware doctor on call.

That takes care of what I would call the trustworthy free "antispyware" programs. Get them and use them. Be sure you use the links I placed here, as there are many dishonest web sites that offer "free" programs to take of spyware, but are actually counterfeit spyware programs, and will actually install the spyware you want to be rid of. Some of the counterfeit programs are just rip-offs of the good guys.

Ever since the internet began, there , there have been sick people who have engineered various problem causing programs like viruses and such, some for profit and others just to cause trouble. Because I use my computer in my business, I have some commercial programs that I highly recommend. Spyware Nuker has a great site for letting us know which programs are safe and which are not. So when you decide to purchase a spyware remover, I suggest you get Spyware Nuker!

 Many people like Webroot's SpySweeper. I've used it and liked it a lot! So do a lot of other folks, including the writers at PC World. They rate it really high in comparison to others in this comprehensive article. PC World said "Webroot's $30 Spy Sweeper 4.0 removed 90 percent of the spyware components--the highest score--which helped make it the Best Buy".

All of these programs work just great together but, remember they must be kept updated to work. At least monthly.
